    For Angel Viator Smith: I noticed your middle name “Viator”. My mother was a Viator from Sulphur, Louisiana. I grew up in Houston but lived in LA for a few years. Outside of LA I have never run across any Viators! I found out the name comes from “Villa Del Toro” which is a city in Spain. Viator came from that name. I believe my mother’s ancestors came to New Iberia from Spain and left from the port city of Malaga. If you want me to share with you any genealogical materials, you are welcome!
