There are multiple Progressive Caucuses, each working in separate fields. Below are the types of Progressive Caucuses & how they work together:

Texas Democratic Party

State & Local Party organizing is the main focus of the Texas Progressive Caucus (TXPC). While the TXPC will work elections and actively work with other progressive caucuses, its primary focus is building & strengthening the Democratic Party in Texas.

Leadership: Elected by TXPC members.

Texas Legislature

The Texas Legislative Progressive Caucus (TLPC) works within the TX Legislature to build progressive power and in support of progressive policy.

Leadership: Elected by TLCP members.

National Democratic Party

The TXPC is an active member of the State Democratic Party Progressive Network. Many other U.S. states have their own progressive caucus. The network strategizes and works together to build & strengthen the national Democratic Party.

Congress

The Congressional Progressive Caucus (CPC) works to push progressivism within the halls of Congress.

Leadership: Elected by CPC members.
